Lost Aircraft Notification Device (L.A.N.D) helps pilots locate lost drones. The
L.A.N.D System
module is small lightweight and self powered with its own rechargeable battery via usb cable (Included) This design is based off a Firefighters PASS alarm system that helps locate downed firefighters, The L.A.N.D. system will sound a 90 dcb alarm if your aircraft goes down as well as flash its own high output led strobe indicator. Since the light and alarm have their own power supply they are not affected by loss of power to the aircraft from ejection of battery or battery failure. Simply look at the last seen point in your flight app, and go to the area noted, look for the visual indicator (strobe) and listen for the audible signal (alarm). Simple one button system, tap the button and hear an audible beep and flash to indicate flight readiness. Press and hold 3 seconds to turn on or off. Once on a small red LED indicates its active and ready for flight. If your aircraft goes down and is lost, and the L.A.N.D system module does not detect movement for 4 Minutes it will go into alarm sounding the alarm and the strobe. Simple move it slightly to reset. In flight the aircraft movement even in hover will not allow alarm to turn on accidentally. This is an insurance policy to prevent you from losing your expensive drone. Mounting Guidelines
The L.A.N.D Module can be mounted with the included velcro, make sure the mounting area is clean of oil and dust for full adhesion.  If your aircraft has bottom sensors steer clear of blocking those, and always power up aircraft on ground and test after mounting to ensure no issues.  The unit does have a clear cover on it and this SHOULD NOT  be removed.  This provides dust and protection from water and mist at the same rating as your aircraft motors.
Directions For Use
Unit will arrive with little to no charge.  Charge with included USB cord to any usb outlet.  Use of wall adapter will shorten the charge time, but you can use any powered usb port.  Charge will take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.  Like any lipo always charge attended, in safe location away from combustible materials.  Unit has
protective
circuit to avoid overcharge.   To power on or off press and hold small micro button for 3 seconds and release.  Unit will show red power on light indicating its alarm is active.  To check charge tap the button to hear audible beep and light will flash indicating power for flight.  If unit does not move for 240 seconds it will go into alarm sounding alarm and
flashing
strobe, simple move to reset.
