    "I-cord piping adds definitive punch to this flattering short take on a swing coat, to work up quickly in a heavy worsted yarn," says de Longpre. "Not feeling especially blue? Make it in your favorite color!" We were struck when we saw this-- we thought it was a rare Chanel swing jacket, but then it really is that style, isn't it? So much friendlier than a really fitted one, yet still poised and polished. Shoulders are shaped with short rows, and the I-cord piping detail around the armhole just knocks us out. 4" ease is recommended, so if your bust is 46", then make the 50" size.
